Sacramento, CA (February 8, 2024) - Sacramento Area Museums will hold their 26th annual Free Museum Weekend on March 2-3. Over 20 museums located throughout the greater Sacramento area will be participating in this two-day event.

“I encourage everyone to take advantage of this unique opportunity,” said Mayor Steinberg.  “No matter your age or interest, Sacramento has a museum experience for you”.

Advance tickets are required. Please note that capacity is limited and availability may fluctuate by museum. 

Ticket availability for Saturday, March 2 will open on Friday, February 9 at 9AM. Tickets for Sunday, March 3 will be available starting on Friday, February 16 at 9AM.
