We are all struggling with how to handle being stuck at home.

We’re struggling to establish routines when much of the normal structure of our lives is gone. We’re struggling to get along without being around the ones we love and the ones that mentor us and guide us through our days.

We’re struggling to get along without the sports and physical activity routines that kept us healthy and reduce stress. Many of our families and seniors are struggling just to get the food they need.

There are resources out there where you can get help. If you need someone to talk to about what’s going on, you can call the non-emergency California Peer-run Warm Line at 855-845-7415.

The California Youth Crisis Line offers assistance for people ages 12 to 24 every day, round the clock. You can reach it by calling or texting 1-800-843-5200 or by visiting Calyouth.org

Provides information for parents and caregivers about infectious disease outbreaks in your community. Knowing important information about the outbreak and learning how to be prepared can reduce stress and help calm likely anxieties. This resource will help parents and caregivers think about how an infectious disease outbreak might affect their family— both physically and emotionally—and what they can do to help their family cope.

California Coalition for Youth (CCY) - a statewide, grassroots nonprofit organization that has been in the service of disconnected runaway and homeless youth ages 12-24 for the last 42 years throughout (and beyond) the state.  Staff and volunteer crisis counselors offer a 24/7 crisis intervention counseling hot-line and chat-line, as well as referrals to youth-serving agencies in the caller's community, a direct connection to resources through a three-way call and a confidential message relay service.  CCY also provides educational outreach to all communities.
