The new city park in McKinley Village is named for Michael Himovitz and is part of an entire neighborhood based art walk. Mayor Steinberg joined close family and friends of Michael, council colleagues Steve Hansen and Jeff Harris, Youth, Parks & Community Enrichment Staff, artists and neighbors for the ribbon cutting at the new park and two new pieces included in the neighborhood art walk. The new sculpture in Himovitz Park is Wildlife on a Ferris Wheel, by James Piskoti and not far from Himovitz Park another new sculpture, Tractor Levitation, by Jeff Myers.
