Mayor, Chancellor May lead groundbreaking on Aggie Square innovation campus

Sacramento (Feb. 16, 2022) The Aggie Square innovation campus on Stockton Boulevard and Second Avenue in Sacramento will start construction in the coming weeks after a celebratory groundbreaking Wednesday kicked off by UC Davis Chancellor Gary May and Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg.

Local, state and federal elected officials participated, along with leadership from Wexford Science + Technology, the project developer; and community activists who worked to ensure the $1-billion project would benefit residents in the surrounding zip codes. Read more…
