WATCH: Press Conference on City Council vote for millions to fund improved security in Old Sacramento and the Central City

Join Mayor Steinberg, Councilmembers and representatives of the business community to learn about investments Sacramento is poised to make to improve safety and security in Old Sacramento and throughout the city. The Sacramento City Council will vote Tuesday, Oct. 19 on the first line-item investments from the City’s American Relief Plan funding, including $8.2 million to help small businesses citywide and $5 million for security cameras, lighting and other improvements for Old Sacramento.
