Sacramento, CA (Mar. 5, 2023) - For the month of March, the Mayor’s Gallery is featuring “Lotus Land,” a painting by artist Jill Estroff.

“Lotus Land” was inspired by the white lotus blossoms in William Land Park. All of Jill’s paintings center around an abstract style that emphasizes a vivid palette and bold brushwork influenced by expressionist artists.

After taking the job as Marketing Director for the Crocker Art Museum in 1986, Estroff was inspired to pursue a career in art. She attended Sacramento City College and focused her studies on art history and painting classes. Since 2015, Jill’s paintings have been displayed in various Sacramento area galleries and have been showcased on 13 covers of INSIDE Publications. Jill is also the Art Curator for the KVIE Art Auction and Gallery.
