Sacramento, CA (Dec. 16, 2022) - The City of Sacramento has launched a new online dashboard, the “American Rescue Plan (ARP) Community Impact Hub,” which provides information on the City’s ARP investments, project outcomes and accomplishments.

The hub includes a dashboard that shows the City’s ARP expenditures, status of projects and a list of organizations that have received grant awards.

“We are excited to bring a new level of transparency that demonstrates how our ARP dollars are making a difference in real time,” said the City’s Special Projects Manager Ash Roughani, who manages the online hub. “The City is investing in programs that benefit our most vulnerable residents and addressing critical needs, including homelessness and housing, job training, and violence intervention.”

The City will update the dashboard monthly to present the most recent data available and anticipates publishing additional information on those served by ARP funded programs.

“We made a commitment to our neighborhoods that we will make these dollars count and boldly invest them in our community. This dashboard shows we have been and are continuing to do just that,” said Mayor Darrell Steinberg.

The American Rescue Plan Act, signed into law in March 2021, provided $112.2 million to the City in response to the COVID-19 public health emergency. The City Council in September 2021 approved the ARP Framework and Funding Priorities, which include the following five key focus areas and funding commitments:

  • Small business and commercial corridor revitalization

  • City homeless and housing commitment

  • Youth, workforce training, and gang prevention

  • Arts and the creative economy

  • Valuing city employees and addressing organizational needs

The City’s ARP funds must be spent by Dec. 31, 2026. Additional information regarding the City’s ARP activities, including funding opportunities and Council actions, is available at: cityofsacramento.org/ARP.
