WATCH: City and County announce partnership agreement for addressing homelessness

Sacramento, Calif. (Dec. 1, 2022) – The City and County of Sacramento at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, announced an agreement that formalizes their partnership to invest in and coordinate strategies and programs to reduce homelessness in Sacramento, particularly within the boundaries of the City of Sacramento. The agreement between the City and County is a key component of “Measure O: The City of Sacramento Emergency Shelter and Enforcement Act of 2022,” which was on the November ballot and looks likely to pass, according to results released by County election officials.
