X Street Navigation Center to bring in residents Sept. 21, outreach to surrounding encampments has already begun
The X Street Navigation Center, located near Broadway and Alhambra Boulevard, will officially open Sept. 21 to serve up to 100 people experiencing homelessness. The Center will be operated by Volunteers of America who are also operating the Meadowview Center.
In addition to shelter, the facility will provide recovery assistance, medical care, financial counseling, and housing-placement services to help people transition from homelessness into more permanent housing. Read more…
