New City Department of Community Response adding staff to address growing 311 caseload

Sacramento (Aug. 11, 2021) The City’s new Department of Community Response is staffing up quickly, with a growing team conducting outreach to people living on the streets and responding to a growing caseload of 311 calls related to encampments and other non-criminal issues.
