COVID Vaccines are becoming more accessible, find out the details from Mayor Steinberg and WellSpace Health
Mayor Steinberg and WellSpace Health collaborate to promote vaccine safety, eligibility, and access with Mayor’s vaccination
Sacramento, CA - Coronavirus vaccine eligibility has opened up to all residents over the age of 50 as of April 1. Starting April 15, everyone over the age of 16 will be able schedule vaccine appointments, according to state guidelines. To mark the this change in availability Mayor Steinberg teamed up with WellSpace Health to make sure this information gets out to Sacramento’s neighborhoods and communities. As part of this effort Mayor Steinberg received his first dose of the vaccine.
“I know everyone is anxious to return to some state of normalcy and getting vaccinated is one of the best ways to help everyone move in that direction. Also, we must stay vigilant - continue to wear masks, wash our hands, and practice social distancing. There is a light at the end of the tunnel and I am very proud of the volunteers and healthcare workers who have been on the front lines of this vaccination effort.” said Mayor Steinberg.
