California State and regional elected officials promote the Green Means Go program, a regional effort to increase infill housing and transportation options in the greater Sacramento region. Support is crucial now as the program is being presented to Governor Newsom’s Task Force on Business and Jobs Recovery next week.

Green Means Go is a pilot program from the Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) to make strategic investments in catalytic projects to accelerate infill development, increase transit ridership, reduce single-occupancy car trips, and electrify the remaining trips. Green Means Go will also improve quality of life in the region by improving local economic development, increasing housing availability, and decreasing traffic congestion.
