Still looking for a mask? You can get one from this tailor and help feed needy Sacramentans

Sacramento tailor Natasha Scott usually spends her days taking measurements and designing custom suits for men and women. Since social distancing has made measuring clients impossible for now, the owner of Scott Suit is instead putting her design and sewing skills to work making cloth masks for people in Sacramento.

She has made more than 300 masks in the past two weeks, charging just enough to cover the cost of materials and shipping.

Now she plans to make another 100 masks and sell them for $10 each — with the proceeds going to the Sacramento Food Bank.

“I’ve been sewing day and night, sometimes past midnight, with the help of my 2-year-old,” Scott said.

You can order a mask from Scott by emailling info@scottsuit.com or directing messaging her on Instagram at @scottsuit.

But you’d better hurry! A group of Sacramento costume designers who began making masks several weeks ago have been overwhelmed by demand and are putting potential customers on a waiting list.
