A fleet of 260 electric vehicles for hire roaming city streets. A new electric shuttle from Sacramento to UC Davis. Electric cars that residents of apartment complexes in low-income neighborhoods can use to make money. These are just a few of the innovations coming to Sacramento soon as part of the $44 million investment planned by Electrify America, the Volkswagen subsidiary.
