Electric motor company announces move to Sacramento

The lightweight, compact electric motor made by Highlands Power could revolutionize the automotive industry by making electric cars more powerful and less costly. On May 30, this exciting start-up company announced it would establish its headquarters in Sacramento. For now, it has a small staff working out of the Urban Hive in the Cannery complex on Alhambra Boulevard. But founders Dimitrios Dovas and Conner Whaley are attracting attention from major automakers. Congratulations to the Greater Economic Council of Sacramento for recruiting Highlands Power, which fits perfectly with Sacramento's strategy of becoming the center for alternative fuel and autonomous vehicles.
