A Proud Sanctuary City - Immigration Resources

To show our commitment to our immigrant communities, the City of Sacramento has created the FUEL Network. The Sacramento Family Unity, Education and Legal (FUEL) Network for Immigrants is a coalition of non-profits, religious organizations, law school immigration clinics, businesses, local pro-bono attorneys, educators and other community partners dedicated to helping Sacramento residents prevent, prepare for or defend against deportation. We believe in an immigrant-centered approach that embraces unity across racial and ethnic communities. As a program established by the City of Sacramento, we strive to build solidarity and collaboration with local, state and national partners seeking justice for immigrant, migrant and refugee families.

We will not cower; we will not retreat. We will do everything in our power to stand up for and protect Dreamers, hardworking families, immigrants – people who are just doing their best to work, to learn and to have a part of the Sacramento and the California dream. We of course are not about protecting people with serious criminal backgrounds; that is not what this is about. This is about Dreamers and hardworking families.
