Mayor Darrell Steinberg’s staff had the pleasure of attending this year’s 2nd annual Sacramento LGBT Community Center’s Vision of Equality Fundraising Luncheon. This event served as an opportunity for the community to learn more about the Center's impact on real people's lives as well as learn about their vision for the future.

The Sacramento LGBT Community Center is influential in creating a region where LGBTQ people thrive. They provide Sacramento with resources that support the health and wellness of those most marginalized, advocate for equality, and work to build a culturally rich LGBTQ community.

There are several ways to get involved and help meet the diverse needs of the LGBT Center. Please visit the LGBT Center’s Ways You Can Give and Volunteer Opportunities page if you are interested in making a difference in the lives of the LGBTQ community. Every dollar and minute donated will be put to great use.
