These Sacramento preschoolers got a sweet visit from some 'superheroes' on Halloween

It was a joyful Halloween morning handing out candy to Sacramento preschoolers at the Penleigh Child Development Center with Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom (night job, Caped Crusader). Afterward, Lt. Gov. Newsom talked about how he thinks the state should invest more in human needs, such as health care, housing and early childhood education.

“People aren’t left behind, they start behind,” he said.
