October 10 is National Walk to a Park Day

Can you easily walk to a park? Mayor Darrell Steinberg belongs to a group of more than 200 mayors around the country that have joined the 10-minute Walk Campaign, an effort to provide a park within a 10-minute walk of every person and neighborhood throughout every city in the United States.
